In response to your comment about the 1950s guns, with 21st century timeline, the vault dwellers were underground for a proposed 200 years which could explain why as their focus wasn't on weapons ;)

You should follow this up with a FO4 review. I'd like to see your comparison to 76 as someone who hadn't played either. <minor spoiler> FO4 is much closer to FO3/NV but (I thought) still felt like it was missing something (which I could never completely put my finger on), despite me being a Bostonian and big FO3/NV fan. </>

Fallout 2 has turrets that have a front screen, but the gun design is very different on them. It probably missed in the show because whoever built it was having fun with the text screen instead of programming the aiming system. When you pull in the Fallout lore, where most vaults were just experiments, the residents guinea pigs, it wouldn't be surprising there's all kinds of guns, drugs and everything in them. As it is also canon that Vault-Tec will ship things all wrong. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if a vault that was supposed to be a peaceful utopia without violence got shipments of drugs that make you psychotic, material that promotes taking what you want by force, and lots of brutal melee weapons...

Well presented review. I was expecting a 7 (or maybe 6 if the reviewer was really harsh) after listening to the whole review. An 8 is a good surprise and makes me really anticipating playing it. I preordered it 2 weeks ago and can't wait.

I always thought it was a shame that FO4 let characters without power armor use the heavy weapons at any str level. Ideally, they would require high str and a perk imo.

the writers confirmed for the masses that this has no timeline connected to the games. it is its own story in the fallout universe. this entire video sadly has no purpose but good job making a video for content i guess

Pistols Akimbo may not be realistic for 99% of modern gunslingers wielding firearms... but the "Rule of Cool" trumps realism when it comes to media. That being said... I've seen a few very scary individuals who can seemingly hip fire pistols with deadly accuracy. They are extremely rare though. That seems to be the major limiting factor for Firearms Akimbo aside from reloading. Not needing to aim down the sights of the firearm and still put rounds on target. They seem to have this perfect natural sense of where their extremities are exactly letting them remember subconsciously exactly how they need to hold and aim a firearm to hit a target at a given distance. As far as science fiction goes... my favorite representation of Firearms Akimbo is via high technology. Each pistol has a camera mounted on the firearm with the pistoleer having the images from those cameras projected directly to thier eyes.

now this is a right score 8/10 am i right IGN i am not a PS fan boy because i will get this on PC with NG+ and able to skip cutscene's and very hot mods so yeah have fun PS5 gamers hahahahahahahaha

i don't get why every one thinks New vegas has fallen into ruins. it's still evening in the shot adn he is rather far from the city . so you would ahve a ahrd time seeing it's lights. any way regardless or arguments we'll find ouit inseason 2 i'm sure.
